In this seven-part series, Bram Vermeulen travels across Turkey—from the western metropolis of Istanbul to the sparsely populated, vast mountain ranges of the east; from the closed borders with Armenia to the open southern borders with Arab neighbors with whom Turks are rekindling lost ties—in search of the rapid changes in a country with a renewed self-confidence.
